Trail Blaze: White Triangles<br />
This easy trail provides viewers with a self guided nature trail that provides you with information on the local flora and fauna. Start by walking up the summit trail then make a left turn on to the Mountains to Sea trail which will take you through a Douglas fir forest. make another left (following signs)at the next intersection to continue back to the parking area. Near the end of the trail is a Spur that takes you to the highest spring east of the Mississippi.
Trail head is located at Mt. Mitchel State Park upper parking lot near the summit.
